I have high hopes for Parys Haralson. He played well in the preseason, but yeah losing Lawson hurts he was one of our best cover LB.

Wow, the offense looks terrible. Sounds like Alex Smith may be out all year, leaving us with Shitpiece Dilfer as the starter. Look forward to a lot of sacks fellas.

I'm back, meaning that my 49ers predictions are back as well(if you were around the mlb.com giants board last year you would know).

I'll with NO by 10. I think this will be a better performance by the 49ers but the Saints seem to be coming along on offense.

Looks like you were a bit off on your score prediction, but you got the winner right.

Damn, the offense looks horrible.

San Francisco 49ers Thread

Week 9 prediction time:

San Francisco 13, Atlanta 10

Someone has to win, right? The key for Atlanta is to get Alge Crumpler going early. San Francisco, according to Football Outsiders, are 29th against the opposing TE, which is no surprise because they have struggled in that department for years. The reason I'll go with San Francisco is their special teams(Andy Lee has been SF's best player) and the potential for a big play by Nate Clements. This will be an ugly game to watch.

Week 10 prediction time:

Seattle 24, San Francisco 7

Seattle has been inconsistent but the 49ers have been brutal, losing 6 in a row. I don't see how the bleeding stops in Seattle, unless they can pressure Hasselbeck and Alex Smith has the best game of his career. Both of them seem like real longshots.

Mike Nolan will be on the sideline to coach the 49ers in Seattle tomorrow night. His father, Dick, passed away earlier today.
