NOT Sausage Review #1 Cha Cha Bowl... with BEEF
Name: Cha Cha Bowl with BEEF
Price: $9.25
Location: Promenade Level Bleachers (upper level bleachers)
Condiments: Habenero (also available with Jalapeno, Chipotle, and BBQ)
Cooked: Grilled
Size: Medium/ Large
Detail:
From the "I DIDN'T KNOW YOU COULD DO THAT!" files, we bring you
CHA CHA BOWL with BEEF.....
Now this is your standard Cha Cha, except instead of Jerk Chicken, you get the beef Tri Tip Meat from the Baby Bull sandwich.....
Now, I tell you.... I am literally drooling as I write this.....
The BEEF is much better than I rememeber. Tender, and flavorful Tri Tip.
And when you put this over the Rice, Black Beans, Carrots, Onions, and Cucumbers of the Cha Cha bowl...... heck... beats the HELL out of the sandwich......won't have that Baby Bull sandwich again.....
Now I use the Habenero Sauce with has a hint of a spicy hot and good flavor.
I would gauge the Habenero as a medium in regards to heat.....but very good flavor...
Word to the wise, there is more rice and beans than it looks like, so dont be shy with the sauce......
The biggest draw back was the size of chunks of meat, and the fact there is no knives at the stand (that i saw), so steal a knife from another stand, or you will be knawing that meat like a dog working a bone......
Additional warning, I have had some TOUGH meat from this stand before this year.....
So maybe I got lucky, maybe they got better.....
For $9.25, lets hope they got better
Minus points for size of meat chunks, price, and tough meat experience from prior years
Overall Rating: 3 1/2 out of 5 Blocked Arteries

Add some garlic fries and I could clear out a whole section with the methane alone.
