No Sir. I've been quoting your OP to many of my friends all weekend long. The Padres are good, a 3 game sweep seemed unlikely, but you just never know. There was always that fear, that possibility....and after watching the 49ers lose with 7 seconds left on the clock this morning, I didn't have a good feeling about the Giants game today. i literally felt ill until the 3rd inning.

Sometimes I think baseball is a stupid game, and why do we get so emotionally attached to it....but then you see Jonathan Sanchez hit a triple and it seems to square itself, for a little while anyway. One of the most beautiful sounds on Earth, besides a Beethoven piano sonata, is the sound of Duane Kuiper's voice getting suddenly excited about a long fly ball.

Go Giants....beat the facking Braves!
