Re: South Africa 2010
I wanted South Africa 2 win but that was totally a goal in the first half!
watching sports this summer will be hard with so many awesome games going on all the time. Giants still come first on my list.
I still think Brazil or Spain will win with the Netherlands being my darkhorse pick.

Re: South Africa 2010
Mexico indeed dodged a bullet! They better hope SA can bring it against the rest of the group as well or this game may just bite them in the butt in the long run.

Re: South Africa 2010
Kind of a deflating tie we just had with Slovenia as we should have won but for an incorrect off-sides call by the referee disallowed our third goal. Oh well, I guess we should be happy with a tie, seeing as we were down 2-0 at halftime, which is like being down 5-0 headed into the 6th inning.
As a side note, the excitement around the office is far greater than it was for U.S. hockey in the Olympics or even for the Sharks during the playoff run. Odd, considering there seems to be a sizeable amount of disdain for soccer in the U.S. in general but not so much for hockey.

Something to distract US Soccer fans from the international crime committed against them today.
