Koko and Willie Dixon doing "Wang Dang Doodle" is one of the finest moments in music history.

Fack me ... that Strat was sobbing with joy.

Buddy is great, but not the same. He & BB are all white man blues now...those 2 are still keeping it in the delta.
Then again, they used to call jazz a sell-out form of the blues since blues musicians switched to jazz to make more money (white audiences).
Wang Dang is damn hot.

Re: Teh Music Thread
Another evening with Dave last night.
His voice stills holds up after all these years. Guitar playing isn't bad, either.

Yeah, just picked that up the other day. I actually bought it at a record store. I kinda felt weird! lol
I like it a lot. If you want to truly hear the effects of booze, drugs and age on a person's voice, listen to Operation Ivy, Lets Go, The Transplants and the new Rancid in order. Armstrong's voice has gotten !@#$ whacky, man.

Teh Music Thread
It is a damn fine album. Lars is an ex bandmate of mine and my old band shares members in The Transplants and Lars Fredikson and The Bastards. I have been a fan since the day the started the band after Op Ivy. Cool to see the progression. Tim's voice is exactly what you say it is. Luckily for him, he is sober and doing quite well.
Glad you like it. It took them a long time to finish the damn thing
Oh and Operation Ivy were one of the best live bands that I have ever seen!
